Sunday opening · Strasbourg
Yes. VeloRouge is open every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00 at 4 Rue du Faubourg-de-Saverne, a five-minute walk from Strasbourg station. Book online and collect whenever suits you during the day — there is no fixed pickup slot.
Much of the city centre is quiet on a Sunday: fewer delivery vans on the Grande Île, empty cycle paths along the canals, and the towpath out to the Rhine almost to yourself. If you only have one day in the city, a Sunday on a bike covers more of it than any walking tour.
The one thing to plan is lunch: many Alsatian villages stop serving at 14:00, so if you ride out towards Molsheim or Obernai, eat early or carry something with you.
Our counter is open on Sunday, as is the workshop for anything that goes wrong mid-ride. The city's public Vélhop counter at the station keeps shorter weekday-leaning hours, which is the usual reason visitors end up at an independent shop on a Sunday.
Return the bike before 19:00. If you need to keep it overnight, choose the 24-hour rate when you book instead of paying the €15 per hour late fee.
Pick the day, choose your bike, collect at the counter when it suits you.
