Ride ideas
Our favourite itineraries, mapped on komoot so you can follow them turn by turn on your phone. Rent the bike, we hand you the helmet, lock and map — the route is already waiting.
47.5 km · Moderate
A 47 km loop that threads through Strasbourg's UNESCO core — La Petite France, Grande Île and the Canal de la Bruche — then opens into quiet farmland. Best for first-timers who want the city's highlights and a breath of countryside on one ride.
67.1 km · Moderate
A 67 km loop on towpaths and quiet lanes along the Rhône–Rhine and Marne–Rhine canals — flat, shaded and almost entirely traffic-free. Easy on an e-bike in a full day, and the natural way out towards the vineyards.
38.6 km · Moderate
A 38 km loop to the north of Strasbourg, mixing riverside riding along the Rhine with the cool forest paths of the Robertsau massif. Mostly flat with minimal elevation, it's the best half-day escape for nature lovers.
107 km · Hard
A 107 km ride along the EuroVelo 5 via the Alsace wine route, from Strasbourg to Colmar — curated by the Agence Régionale du Tourisme Grand Est. Mostly paved and suitable for all skill levels, with 580 m of elevation. On a VéloRouge e-bike it becomes a very full day; most riders prefer to split it into two stages.
