The Jardin des Deux Rives is 5 km from the shop, around twenty minutes east on a flat ride along the Rhine. The park spans both banks and is crossed by a footbridge: that is how you cycle into Germany, with no formalities at all.
Leave the centre on Route du Rhin, on cycle track, heading for the port.
Follow the Vauban basin and then the banks as far as the park.
The Mimram footbridge links the French side to Kehl's Bürgerpark.

On the German side, the Bürgerpark viewing tower and Kehl's shops are five minutes further — carry ID, even though nobody checks.
